Ambassador of Myanmar to India meets Ambassadors and High Commissioners of ASEAN countries (5-12-2024, New Delhi)

H.E. Mr. Zaw Oo, Ambassador of Myanmar to India, conducted constructive engagements with the Ambassadors and High Commissioners of ASEAN countries during visits to their respective Embassies and High Commissions in New Delhi from December 3 to 5, 2024.

On December 3, 2024, H.E. Mr. Zaw Oo met with H.E. Ms. Ina H. Krisnamurthi, Ambassador of Indonesia, and H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand. On December 4, 2024, he engaged with H.E. Mr. Muzafar Shah bin Mustafa, High Commissioner of Malaysia, and H.E. Mr. Bounmy Vanmany, Ambassador of Laos. Additionally, on December 5, 2024, he met H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Ambassador of Vietnam; H.E. Mr. Josel Francisco Ignacio, Ambassador of the Philippines; and H.E. Mr. Simon Wong Wie Kuen, High Commissioner of Singapore.

During these courtesy calls, H.E. Mr. Zaw Oo and his ASEAN counterparts exchanged views on the progress of the ASEAN-New Delhi committee (ANDC), explored opportunities to further enhance cooperation between ASEAN member states and India, and and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, promote people-to-people ties, and expand collaboration between Myanmar and the respective ASEAN nations.
